Makes: 4-6 servings

Ingredients
4-6 Love’s Hamburger Buns
2 – 2 ½ lbs. ground beef
1 can peeled tomatoes (about 28 ounces)
1 medium onion, diced
1 bulb garlic, chopped
4-5 tablespoons olive oil
10-12 leaves Thai basil (about 1 ounce)
4 teaspoons Kona Seasoning Hawaiian Sea Salt (available online at SomGoodHawaii.com)
2 teaspoons sugar
Parmesan cheese
Iceberg lettuce, chopped

Directions
1. Instant Pot:
Press sauté mode, add olive oil, when oil is hot, add garlic and onions: stir for 45 seconds (do not brown or burn garlic), cancel sauté mode, add tomatoes, 2 teaspoons Kona Seasoning, sugar, and basil. Place cover on, and press high pressure mode for 45 minutes, then quick release.

2. Ground Beef:
Place ground beef in frying pan, add 2 teaspoons Kona Seasoning, brown, and drain liquids. Set aside to later combine with tomato sauce.

3. Italian Sloppy Joe:
Add ground beef to instant pot tomato sauce and set to high pressure mode for 3 minutes, then Quick Release. Stir for 3-5 minutes, let cool, and serve. Add chopped lettuce to Love’s hamburger bun, scoop Italian Sloppy Joe, sprinkle Parmesan, and enjoy!!

Optional – Traditional Stove Top:
Follow steps above using a pot, add drained ground beef and medium simmer for 1 ½ – 2 hours stirring occasionally.
